Building Leaders
Session Description:
Today in an environment that is highly competitive, and driven by considerations of technology, innovation, quality, cost, effectiveness, timeliness and excellence in products and services no organization can afford to lag behind. In this four hour session you will gain an understanding as to why we need to build leaders, learn the difference between leadership and management, develop an appreciation for leadership qualities and issues and learn some basic tools to help manage leadership development.
Learning Objectives:
- Be able to understand and explain why we need to build leaders
- Know the difference between leaders and managers
- Become knowledgeable about some leadership development tools available
- Demonstrate the ability to apply the concepts and skills in your own personal situation
