Adam Kangiser is a Compliance Analyst at Iviry IT, where he supports defense contractors in achieving and sustaining cybersecurity compliance under federal frameworks such as NIST SP 800-171 and the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). A Certified CMMC Registered Practitioner with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and deep hands-on experience in cybersecurity, Adam plays a critical role in helping clients assess risk, define compliance boundaries, and implement technical controls that align with evolving DoD requirements. His background includes network and systems administration, policy development, SIEM implementation, and incident response—giving him a well-rounded perspective on both strategy and execution. Adam also assists with developing System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), and provides technical guidance throughout the CMMC lifecycle. With a proactive, detail-oriented approach, he helps organizations bridge the gap between compliance and operational security.
