Situational Leadership (Continuous Improvement for Leaders and Followers)

Session Description:
The Situational Leader is concerned about people and about results and behaves in a manner where all parties win. In this four hour session you will learn how to assess where a given individual is in their readiness level to accept more responsibility and which leadership style is appropriate to apply at the time. You will also learn how Lean Principles apply to Situational Leadership.

Learning Objectives:

  • Be able to  define what Situational Leadership is
  • Understand the difference between management and leadership
  • Learn the various leadership styles and when to apply them
  • Apply the four readiness levels to assess the current situation
  • Be able to effectively deal with performance issues
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply the concepts and tools of Situational Leadership in your own personal situation
