Leaders in Conflict

Session Description:
Conflict is a normal, inescapable part of life. It is a periodic occurrence in any relationship. Conflict is an opportunity to understand opposing preferences and values. It is an opportunity to create energy. In this two hour session you will develop an understanding of conflict, apply the six steps to managing conflict and learn do’s and do nots in managing conflict.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the fundamental concepts of conflict in leadership
  • Acquire specific tactical approaches to conflict situations
  • Apply that understanding to more effectively assess and manage two-party and multi-party conflicts
  • Discover other Lean problem solving tools
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply the concepts and skills to your own personal situation
