Are you concerned and/or want to learn more about:

  •  Loss of intellectual property (yours, your employees, your customers, and your suppliers/partners)?
  • Disruptions to your customers and your production due to ransomware attacks?
  • Insurance requirements regarding due diligence in reducing risks and protecting your IT systems vulnerabilities?
  • How do CMMC 2.0, DFARS 7012, and NIST SP 800-171 impact you?

These hands-on workshops will address these concerns and provide a road map and implementation tools and teach you how to use them to secure your information.

These workshops aren’t only for those who are government contractors!

Impact Dakota has been working for three years to help strengthen ND infrastructure including specifically cybersecurity compliance.  These workshops will help organizations reduce their risks of breaches and disruptions.  Our attendees include many industry sectors to working to fortify their communications infrastructure- manufacturing, utilities, universities, government (city/county/state), military, food, services, etc.  In the three years we’ve been involved one thing we have learned for sure is it costs about 10% to implement preventative infrastructure of what it costs to recover after a cybersecurity breach—on average, $10,000 - $15,000 preventative vs. $100,000 -$150,000, and sometimes much more, recovery.  Often times recovery includes more costs than that and certainly customer dissatisfaction and liability when customer proprietary information has been compromised.  It is really hard to hear the pains and disruptions that our friends and neighbors in ND organizations are going through once they have been breached and are going through forensics and recovery activities to literally save their organizations. Impact Dakota encourages every organization to invest their time in preventative activities like these workshops to reduce their risks and increase their resiliency.

“Public companies, investment managers, and customers should do everything they can to strengthen their cybersecurity, and it all starts by understanding how hackers and scammers operate. I thank Impact Dakota and its partners for providing access to cybersecurity training and risk management education through these workshops.” – Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND)

“The North Dakota Department of Commerce is grateful for its partnership with Impact Dakota, which is making a difference for our North Dakota businesses. Impact Dakota's entry into cybersecurity and risk reduction is a perfect response to ever-changing market conditions. Our manufacturers are asked to compete globally, and the global economy requires additional tools and knowledge sets to not only compete, but to limit risk. Impact Dakota's cybersecurity programming is exactly what will help our manufacturers compete globally and is the perfect extension of Commerce's service to the state's business community.” – Josh Teigen, North Dakota Department of Commerce Commissioner

“The Cybersecurity Workshops provide all companies with a proven framework to better defend against the rapidly growing cybersecurity threats that represent “here and now” risks to financial and intellectual property assets.” – Randy Delarm, Iviry
